GROUND LEVEL LOADING
It’s simple! The trailer’s deck lowers and raises. This technology allows you to drive equipment on and off the trailer.
Air-tow’s ground-level loading technology uses a unique hydraulic system to lower the entire deck of the trailer flat to the ground, providing a smooth and level surface for loading and unloading equipment. This system is powered with a push of a button.
Ground-level loading is important for creating ease, safety, efficiency, and versatility in daily operations.
The unique Air-tow flatbed uses a totally different concept to make loading easier and safer. The trailer deck remains completely level as it raises and lowers hydraulically in less than 30 seconds. At ground level, you simply drive your equipment onto the trailer. Single axle models range from 3,500 to 5,500 lbs. capacities.Tandem axle models range from 7,000 to 14,000 lb. capacities.

Tandem axle utility models range from 7,000 to 14,000 lb. capacities.

Extra load and weight distribution to the tow vehicle ensures safer and better operator control. A gooseneck can accept 20-25 percent hitch load, while a bumper hitch can only carry 10-15 percent. The hitch weight is placed directly over the rear wheels, any lateral pressure is transferred directly to the ground through the truck tires. A gooseneck is noticeably more stable when traveling curvy roads. Enhanced maneuverability is a real plus- this is especially helpful when backing the trailer or when there is limited space to make a u-turn.
